Back on Home Soil

Well, we have made it back safely (though a little groggy) and we are getting back into life's routine. It was a great trip. We saw much fruit and were safe the entire time. I may write more about the finer points of the trip in the future and some interesting highlights, but for now, here is a picture of Ang and I with Joseph, a young boy at the shelter where we stayed. He is named Joseph for a reason; he was abandoned by his family at a bus stop when he was about three years old and taken in by the folks at Restored Heritage. They think he belonged to some of the warring tribes that inhabit the mountains. Sad as it is to say, his life may be much better now, where he has many people around that love him, stability, food, a relationship with God. The shelter has given him life. Keep kids like Joseph and ministries like Restored Heritage in your prayers. There is no shortage of people who need to be touched.
