Donald Miller Interview Video

About a year and a half ago I went with a good friend to interview Donald Miller. The church I attend was doing Blue Like Jazz for the mealgroup book and we talked with Don a bit about the book. I posted about this experience here, and here you were able to read a transcript of the video above. James finally uploaded the video to google, so I present it to you now. As you will be able to tell, it is edited and some things are cut out, including editing some of his answers, which got a bit long. James is the guy in the video asking the questions.

Let me know your thoughts!

PS And by the way, I'm the guy who threw the book. Didn't I nail it?

You did nail it! Good job! ;-)

My first thought was "Man, he's a lot younger than I thought he'd be!" I'd never seen what he looked like until now. I've read snippets of his books online and listened recently to a sermon he gave at Mars Hill, and from that I figured he had to be 40-45 years old.

That'll teach me to make assumptions!

My second thought was "Kay, buy Blue Like Jazz already will ya? Every blog you go to lately is saying something about it (despite the fact that it is not a new book)." And so I have. I ordered it this morning. :)

You won't be sorry you ordered those books, Kay. Searching... is my favorite and Blue... is great too.

Yeah, I think Donald is in his 30's.

The two messages he has given at Mars Hill have both been amazing. The first time he spoke was in April of 06. If you haven't herd that, try and get it. The last one was in November when he spoke about story, and I'm assuming that is the one you have heard.

Thanks Kay!
